5 to 6 Private or Group Mentoring Sessions with Your Trainer
Each of these mentoring sessions are in depth teaching on the topics listed below. They also include time for questions and answers and when time allows practice TAT Sessions:
- Working with Trauma
- Health Issues
- Physical Conditions
- Allergies
- Working with Children
- Working with Animals
- Scope of Practice, Legal and Ethical Issues, and Advertising
If you opt to do group mentoring with Tapas the sessions are generally scheduled 3 to 4 weeks apart. Each mentoring session includes homework to be completed prior to the next mentoring session.
Schedule One private TAT session with Tapas or another Pro
This requirement is so you can experience a private TAT session with a Certified Professional
Schedule 1 to 2 Private sessions with your Trainer to review your Session Assessments.
Using the session assessment document:
- Complete 15 TAT Buddy sessions
- Complete 25 TAT Sessions on others
- Complete each Healing ACEs program recording. This completes the requirement for self sessions.
The session assessment document allows room for you to write down any questions you might have for your trainer about each of the sessions.
Schedule two private sessions with your Trainer so they can observe you leading someone through a TAT session.
The person you lead through the session will be someone you know. These sessions will be done via Zoom when working with Tapas. This requirement should be completed with one in the middle of your training and one towards the end of your training, based on your trainer's recommendation on when you should schedule them. You will want to explain the TAT process and TAT Pose to your volunteer prior to the start of the observed session. These sessions are scheduled for one hour. This will allow approximately 45 minutes to work with your volunteer and 10-15 minutes to discuss the process with your trainer after the session is complete.
