New Professional Certification Fee through 2025

This is ONLY for Students of the TATLife Certification Program who have COMPLETED their Student Professional training and are now becoming Certified TAT Professionals.

Professional Renewal Requirements

Below you will find the information on what qualifies for CEUs towards your renewal. Each 2-year renewal period ends on December 31st.

CEU Requirements:

A minimum of 12 CEUs is required and there are 3 categories for earning CEUs. 

Once you have completed your CEUs, you can pay your renewal fee to complete your renewal for that 2-year renewal period. *Extra CEUs are not carried over to your next renewal period.

Category 1 – Mandatory – at least 7 and up to 10 hours CEUs from this category

You need 7 to 10 hours of in-person contact with Tapas. (It is required to have a minimum of 7 hours of in-person time with Tapas.)

If you have attended an in-person workshop or live webinar with Tapas within your renewal period, that counts for CEUs. In-person workshops and live webinars are given CEUs for the number of hours the class lasts. 

All live webinars and workshops with Tapas earn CEUs towards renewal in Category 1. 

60 minute webinar is worth 1 CEU

90 minute webinar is worth 1.5 CEUs

120 minute webinar is worth 2.0 CEUs

Category 2 –  2 CEUs from this category

Case Studies Review – worth 2 CEUs

2. Register for a case studies call with Tapas. Please be prepared to discuss at least one specific session with a client during the call. One session earns the full 2 CEUs.
3. Consult with another Professional or a TAT Buddy. Talk with each other, live and in person, by phone, Skype or Zoom.

The two hours refers to how much time you spend in communication with a Trainer or Pro reflecting on folks you’ve worked with. The idea is that you talk about how the session(s) went, what might have been done differently, other TAT® approaches that might be helpful, etc. It may also be helpful to know that you can also do TAT® on what was learned through the reviews and include that in the 2 hours of case studies time. This helps to allow the learning and shift to come through on the issues that surfaced during your work.  

Just a reminder:  Client confidentiality needs to be maintained. Do not use client’s names at any time.

Category 3 – Optional CEUs — maximum of 3 CEUs can be obtained from this category

If you have already earned 10 hours of in-person time with Tapas and your 2 hours of case studies, you do not need to earn any CEUs from this category. 

Options for earning CEUs in Category 3:

1. Listen and learn from recordings. 

Please note:

• Recordings are worth 1 CEU.
• Recordings must have been purchased during your 2 year certification period (after your initial certification started or after your last renewal).
• If you have already earned CEUs in the past for a particular recording, you cannot use it again to earn CEUs.
• TAT® with a buddy. Please include a short write-up of what you worked on, the date & time of the buddy work and email it to customerservice@tatlife.com 
• Free recordings and webinars do not count towards CEUs.
